It is our pleasure to announce that Dr. Jila Mahajan joined Pediatric Smiles, Inc. on April 19, 2010 in the position of Pediatric Dental Associate. Dr. Mahajan, a native of England, received her Bachelor of Science degree from George Washington University. She then went on to earn a Doctor of Dental Science degree from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in New York City. She completed her residency and certification in Pediatric Dentistry from the Medical College of Virginia. Her advanced training included medically compromised children, oral and IV sedation, general anesthesia, and interceptive orthodontics. After graduation, Dr. Mahajan became an associate professor at the Medical College of Virginia, entering private practice in 2001. Dr Mahajan is committed to providing quality gentle dentistry for children of all ages. Dr Mahajan is widowed and has two children. |
